I think it’s probably about the message queue.

In the folder there’s already has a file been successful generated, let call f1.txt.

And due to some reason many failed messages accumulated in suspended queue and keep trying to write f1.txt to the same location.

After i restarting the server, those errors are stopped occurring, however i cannot terminate those suspended message using HAT.

With a little help from Microsoft we were able to get this resolved…On the BizTalk 2k6 cd in the additional software section allows you to select the MQS Agent as a component to install. If will also try to install the Primary Interoperability Assemblies. Note: your MQ Series server must have .Net Framework 1.1(not sure if 2 works or not) in order to get the PIA assemblies on the machine. After that the wizard will install the component. You are also able to run these side by side if you have the BizTalk 2004 version installed. The COM+ package that is created with 2006 is called MQSAgent2.

I have complete unconfigured, removed the BizTalk SQL databases, and reconfig’d using \”Basic Configuration\”. Re configured the application and have started it. (Also, cleaned the GAC of the previous tutorial assemblies.)

I am getting a somewhat different error message:

    Event Type: Error
    Event Source: BizTalk Server 2006
    Event Category: BizTalk Server 2006

This is the original attempt at this tutorial or the MS Solution – which has been removed:

Why would it be referencing this?

    Thanks,
    Phil

imagine that you will need to enable IIS logging for this, as this information, the x-forwarded-for http header needs to be logged. This feature is suitable for application servers that are behind a Hardware Load Balancer or behind proxy server to see real client IP address in IIS logs. I cannot imagine that the standard biztalkhttpreceive.dll mechanism takes care of this stuff.

I think that for the receive part you will have to get the file on a location, inspect the log (by searching for the filename e.g.) and promote this infos for further processing, but that is just plain guessing.

    Just my 2 cents

    Cheers

    Hi,

In Local User and Groups under users Administrator is a Member of BizTalk Server Administrators.

If this not right please let me know the steps to rectify it.

    Thanks a lot.

in reply to: Promote Property and Map #13594

    Good point Tomas.
But what fun is BizTalk without a hack 😀

I have also used multi message mapping and created a new input message with all the fields I wanted to use inside the map.

Also important to point out that none of these methods really work outside of an Orchestration.

    Best of luck.

in reply to: BTS 2006 MS Help File Tutorial – Tutorial 1 Problem #14680

Well, it could be several different problems and no real way to know without looking at the exact configuration.

I’d start by looking at the Receive Pipeline. Make sure it’s set to Xml Receive (I’m assuming that’s what it required).

Also, make sure you are submitting the correct message.

If that doesn’t work, view the active subscriptions and see what the subscription is expecting. Then, check the context properties of your message. You should then be able to see why the message isn’t getting routed.

You can get more info on viewing the subscriptions by googling BizTalk 2006 Subscription Viewer or here http://geekswithblogs.net/sthomas/archive/2005/10/03/55872.aspx

You can view the message context inside BizTalk Admin when you view the suspended messages.

    Hope this helps.

    1. Here’s the first trick I learned a while back.
    In HAT – Click \”Operations\” then \”Service Instances\”.
Change class to \”All\” and click \”Run Query\”.
This will show all messages that Biztalk received, but could not match
to a waiting orchestration (based on the correlation id).

If necessary, you should be able to drill down and see the message
    or save it to disk.

    2. Use a tool called the Biztalk Subscription Viewer.
I’m not sure why Microsoft couldn’t give us an icon for this.
You have to run it here:

    c:\\Program Files\\Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004\\SDK\\Utilities\\BTSSubscriptionViewer.exe

It will help you confirm that you are correlating on the proper
    correlation ids.

Correlation is a bit of pain at first, but these two tricks should help you figure out what’s wrong.

I don’t know anything about the HotFix, but have you verified that this is not just a security issue. The the userid underwhich the Biztalk Service is running have access to the file/directory or MQSeries or whatever?

Make sure project B is really referencing project A and not some prior test version of the same or similar map. Or just remove and reference the ProjectA in Project B – some times I have problems with the references (mostly likely user error). Also, I have had problems with nested schemas, for example A references B references C.
When you compile A, it puts B’s and C’s schemas in A’s \\bin.
But when you reference in D, you should reference B and C directly, not the B and C in A’s \\bin. Because if you recompile for example C and forget to recomiple A it can cause problems if you are reference the now out of date C in A’s \\bin.

Did that make any sense what-so-ever?

Just because you are an Administrator does NOT mean that you are a Biztalk Administrator. See if you are in the \”Biztalk-Administrator\” group as well.
