        also, you can view BizTalk as a workflow hub which can connect to pretty well any kind of protocol (HTTP, SOAP, etc), or technology (database, file, etc) or Application (e.g. SAP, Siebel). It’s a very *reliable* and very *scaleable* host for these capabilities.

        Not to forget the other bits and pieces such as EDI, RFID, BAM, Business Rules, SSO etc.

      This is a big question.

      Basically Biztalk is an integration engine that also provides BPM capability.
