Hi , I am new to Biztalk, I have installed biztalk 2006 but a few components are not configured like groups, Biztalk runtime. I am using VS 2008 but it is not showing an option for Biztalk type project template. Kindly help.

Hi Neeraj,
If I’m not mistaken, BizTalk 2006 does not work with VS2008. You have to use VS2005 or wait for BT2009.
Here are the system requirements for BizTalk 2006 R2: http://www.microsoft.com/biztalk/en/us/system-requirements.aspx

If I’ll choose .net 3.0 framework in visual studio, then also, will it not work????

I don’t really understand your question. Installing .NET 3.0 is fine, and it will work with VS2005. However, you still won’t be able to use VS2008 with BizTalk 2006 R2.

I think it should be telling, you have the database created alsready right?
Uninstall the whole SQL server and Biztalk. Complete the SQL server installation first and restart your machine. now install the Biztalk server.
