      Hi,

I have been using Biztalk Server 2006 with SQL Server 2005. I am facing a problem while I try to create SQL schema using SQL Adapter Wizard. After selecting  the SP and generates it, I click the “Next” button to generate schema. But after that the wizard disappears.

After that I try to configure the physical Receive port manually to SQL Server, but when I enable the port i comes with following warning:

The adapter “SQL” raised an error message. Details “Could not load file or assembly ‘Microsoft.Data.SqlXml, Version=3.2.2917.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089’ or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.”.

Thanks with the anticipation of your help.

      Regards,

This is just a wild guess, but do you have SqlXml installed?  This should be installed as a prerequisite when you install Biztalk.  If this is a production machine, I would seriously consider reinstalling or repairing BizTalk.  If it’s just a developer box, maybe try downloading and running the SqlXml SP3 install and running it:  http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=51D4A154-8E23-47D2-A033-764259CFB53B&displaylang=en.

         Hi Rusel,

My problem has been resolved with SP3. Earlier I have installed SP2, but now it is able to generate schema.

        Thanks again.
