SourcePartyID

I’m running biztalk 2004 on a single machine ( same machine as sql server ), and I having some trouble trying to use the SourcePartyID. It keeps returning the value as \”s-1-5-7\”. I’ve read some other posts on the \”s-1-5-7\” and from what I can gather is that it gives that result when it can’t authenticate the SID. I read something from Microsoft suggesting that I can add the windowsUser as an alias for the party, and that should fix it, but I can’t figure out how that is done. It says to add WindowsUser == <domain\\username>, where \”WindowsUser\” is the Name, \”==\” is the qualifier, however in BTE it won’t allow me to put \”==\” in the qualifier. Am I barking up the wrong tree here, or is there another way to authenticate the file? Any ideas would be a big help. Thank you.

I have the host set to authenticated trusted in BTA hosts. Is that the same as trusted host? Or is there somewhere else where the host is set to trusted?

I do not have many ideas on this one.

I have seen at least one KB’s on this (http://support.microsoft.com/?id=835870) but you have probably already looked at it.

You are using a trusted host right? I think it has to be trusted.

That is about all I know about it. Best of luck.

I think that is all you need to do. Just make sure that is the host you are using on the Receive Adapter.

Other then that, I do not have any other ideas.
