        I have a BT solution that would not deploy unless I imported an MSI. I googled a portion of the message and found the link

        While the solution would not deploy, it did create the app. On the app, I added the biztalk assembly “Microsoft.Adapters.SAP.BiztalkPropertySchema.DLL”. Now the app deploys fine.

        I wanted to test in our QA environment. I exported the MSI. Now, when importing the MSI, I get a similar message in our QA enviroment.

        I could use some help getting the solution configured so it will deploy in Dev as well as QA.

        Please help!

          Hi Scott,

          Are you trying to deploy the solution within Visual Studio directly to Dev and QA? Although this is supported but it’s not the recommended way for deploying BizTalk applications.

          Anyhow, you could try to add the Microsoft.Adapters.SAP.BiztalkPropertySchema.DLL as reference to your solution and then deploy. Doing this should add the DLL as resource for your application. When exporting the MSI file, you need to select the DLL (if it’s not already selected) to be exported in the “Select Resources” step.
