        We have many receive locations that need to operate on a given schedule. Example, go to an FTP site on tuesdays at 9 AM and check for a file. If no file is found, we need to take an action. Service windows only affords us a time range, but appear to activate daily. we need something that allows us to configure polling intervals and scedule times.

        Any ideas outside of an orchestration?

          For my last client, we developed our own \”JumpStart\” system.
          Biztalk monitored an SQL table, looking for work to do.
          We used SQL-Agent to schedule entries in the table.
          It worked great. The only downside was the constant SQL polling.
