        Hi,

         

        I regularly get a receive location shutdown (on a BizTalk Server 2010) because of an “Access to the path \\….. is denied” error.

         

        1°)  I’m thinking about changing the value of the “Interval between new attempt” parameter  in the receive lcoation properties…Is is a good idea to fix my problem ?

         

        2°) When I try to change the value (default is 10 ms) and click on apply, I get no error message but it’s never changed !!!…Is that normal ?

          Hi,

            It is most likely that your receive location is attempting to read from a network drive path, not a drive path local to your BizTalk machine. Check the path setting in your receive location, and change it to a local drive path, if it's not set that way, since the account used for the receive location does not have permissions to read from remote folder paths.
