Promoted Properties

I have a schema that had three promoted properties (no distinguished fields). I promoted to more properties, rebuilt my schemas and app. I closed the solution and opened it again. I then changed the orchestration hoping to use these newly promoted fields. however, only the three original fields are available. how do I get access to the newly promoted fields.
