Problem of catching error if sending message fails on send port

  Hi,
  
  I am using a send port of type HTTP and sending message to a HTTP url.
  
  Some times i get an error that message sending failed on this port it retires but fails.
  
  can i catch this error.and then send it again after some time.
  
  how to catch this error if there is a problem in the url where we post the http MESSAGE.
