        I’ve never actually done it. But I think it’s as easy as moving the database to the new server and updating the database under Message Boxes.

        I’d be curious how it works for you, if you can post a follow up that would be great.

          I don’t think so. I’ve talked with over with some other people in the past and they didn’t think you need to unconfigure / reconfigure.

          But I’ve never really tested it.

              Don’t you have to run the unconfigure/configure utility – which is never fun in 2004?

                  Hi,
                  We’re going to retire the database server for BTS 2004, and move the databases to a new server.

                  Does anybody have a suggestion on how to go about performing this task? Are there any issues that may arise once moved to the new server? Have anybody had any experience doing this? How did you go about it?
