        Is it possible to directly import a 2006 application into an R2 server? Particularly one that processes EDI files?

        There seems to be some differences between the 2 with regards to EDI. 2006 has an EDI adapter that receives EDI files, R2 does not.

           No,

          You cant import directly as the namespace changes.
