General Biztalk EAI Question…

Hi, I am new to BizTalk server services/orchestration.

I need to develop a .net solution in which a query will be submitted from a asp page… the query will be passed on to BizTalk which will execute the search request from another external database, return the results to my query request and I will have to print the search results on the asp page which requested submitted the query.

In this scenario, I assume I will be invoking the BizTalk orchestration in a “synchronous” mode, submit the request and wait for the response until BizTalk returns the data.

I thought BizTalk offers async mode of communication. Is there anyway I can get a synch response from BizTalk?

Any advice and sample code is appreciated.
