error response when sending cXML invoice to Ariba

        I get this response from Ariba when trying to send a cXML invoice.  “Status code=”406“ text=”Not Acceptable“>Invalid Document:Attribute “preferredLang” must be declared for element type “Email”. at line 1, column 1738″  Not sure what the mean by must be declared.  Declared where?  Here is the portion of the cXML they are speaking about.
