This position will assist a development and hosting team with the setup and upgrade of new hardware and software components in a production setting. The role requires experience installing and upgrading Microsoft software, with an emphasis on BizTalk and SQL Server.
Education and experience:
This position requires a four year degree in any business/technical area or equivalent experience is preferred plus three to five years relevant work experience. Other Requirements: • Experience installing BizTalk in a production setting. • Experience installing SQL Server in a production setting. • Experience installing SQL Notification Service in a production setting is desired. • Strong skills in Windows 2003, Active Directory, SQL Server 2000/2005, IIS/ASP .Net, and BizTalk 2002/2006 support • Approach issues and projects with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm, innovation and quality • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Strong knowledge of Windows networking is required. Specific knowledge of network hardware is a plus but not required. • Strong skills utilizing Microsoft Office Suite. • Installation experience with any of the following products is considered a plus: IBI WebFocus; SAP Business Objects; RenderX.
