        hi ,

         i want to know wiether weither for sending a edi file( using biztalk edi framework  ) do i need to create just one party to send edi file to this party from any sender . the problem is that i have to put the UNB 2.1   and UNB 3.1 fields hardcoded . so if sender is different then i have to use other party to send the edi message for that sender.

        can i put values in the  UNB 2.1   and UNB 3.1   dynamic like we do in the File adapter  %MessageID%  or  %SourceFileName% to capter the value .

          Hi Jitendra,

          I beleive you need a party for every unique recipient of your EDI documents. We receive EDI and send 997 Acknowledgements and I have a party for ourselves and one for each of our suppliers.

            Jitendra,

            I strongly recommend that you buy a book and learn Biztalk. It would put you in a very difficult situation if you were to get a job with this level of knowledge of the tool.  So please learn the tool before you end up in a critical situation without the proper knowledge.
