Digital signature on outbound messages

        What is involved in applying a digital signature to an outbound message?
        I know I have to create custom pipeline with the S/MIME encoder. But I’m not to sure on how to configure it right. Where do I put the certificates involved?
        Anyone who can show me the steps involved in applying digital signatures to messages (or point me to a relevant tutorial or something of the like).
