      Hi Folks,

Any one of you come across this sort of situation? I would like to put this to deployment experts to  answer my question, I have a scenario where I have my process orchestration is exposed as web service , working side its perfect and I had deployed on one server BizTalk scenario. Now I would like to deploy the same on to BizTalk group and also want to isolate the orchestration proxy to NLB server (IIS web form) where I maintain all my web applications.

I have been trying to figure it out whether it is possible or not, I have few questions on the same.

      1)      Do I need to have IIS on BizTalk box? Is it mandatory? My idea is I do not want to install IIS on BizTalk Boxes.

      2)      I am guessing Orchestration proxy uses  microsoft.biztalk.webservices.serverproxy.dll to submit the messages to message box , in that case is there any option to configure the destination server or message box address ?

      3)      How does the same scenario works with HTTP Adapter? Do I need to install the HTTP receive adapter ISAPI extension on all servers in web  form ?

      Your ideas are really appreciated…

I have been thru the following article but still not clear with the blue box in all depicted diagrams. Where the web service is hosted? On BizTalk boxes? In that case why blue box is not within the orange box ?

Scalability of “SOAP adapter” while maintaining fault tolerance using Network Load Balancing (NLB).http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa972198.aspx

I don’t know I am really confused do you guys think my post has any valid points to consider for discussion?
