converting files

Hi,

is it possible to do this with biztalk:

I have 2 applications who are on a different system but soon i’ll have a third one. all three must be able to communicate with eachother.

De first one communicates with XML files the second in flat file and the third in excel files.

If they communicate with each other, the applications wouldn’t know what to do with the other types of files…

I was thinking of a biztalk server to be the communication server. and this server would control all traffic and should also do this:
app 1 sends a XML file to app 3 so biztalk server do this: he receives the XML File and converts it to an Excell file so that app 3 can read this.

Is this possible to do?
if it’s possible, wel how then? cause i’ve been searching and searching but didn’t find anything.
only that biztalk server can
