      Hi,

I currently have a problem with BZT 2006 and Oracle 9i.

I use an Oracle Adapter to get some date which are sent to an orchestration, which itself does some heavy computation on Oracle (this implies computing time of about 10 seconds).

My problem is that the Oracle server load is not constant and therefore I can get into some bad accumulation of concurrent orchestration running which brings performance down.

So, my question is : Do I have a way to control the max number of concurrent orchestrations running ? Can I tune it using the average completion time for example ?

      Thank your for any help.

I don’t know whether this is what you’re after, but Stephen W. Thomas (the chap that runs BizTalk Gurus) has a sample which demonstrates controlling the concurrent number of orchestrations – see http://www.biztalkgurus.com/media/p/15499.aspx

      Hope this helps, Nick.
