Consume Adapter Service Add-in

        I need to use the Oracle WCF Adapter. In order to connect to oracle from VS2005 I need the Consume Adapter Service Add-in but I don’t see it in Add generated items.

        Any help is appreciated.

          Make sure you install:

          * WCF LOB Adapter SDK.

          * BizTalk Adapter Pack.

          * Requirements (oracle client, oracle data provider for .NET, ODAC)

              Hi,

               

              I’ve got the same problem except when trying to connect to SQL Server 2005.

              I create a BizTalk solution in Visual Studio 2008 but when I select add…. Add Generated Items there is no Consume Adapter Service Add-in

              I’ve installed (several times) everything on the list.

              I have VS 2008 and SQL 2005 (with the latest service packs). I’ve tried the full installation of the BizTalk Adapter Pack 2.0 and the custom installation. When installing with the custom installation it doesn’t give me an option to install the add-in

              I’m using BizTalk 2009 Enterprise 120 day Evaluation edition for development as it could be sometime before the production environments are set up and available for development

              Everything is installed on my laptop running Windows XP
