I ran Configuration.exe the day before and was not able to complete the setup.

The following day I received the following exception.

      Event Type: Error
Event Source: .NET Runtime 2.0 Error Reporting

I checked the log in my temp folder but could not find the problem. I also tried running from the command line, Configuration /u. No error message, but saw a similar error in the app event log.

I tried to reinstall BT 2006 Enterprise  but that didn't resolve the problem.

       Any recommendations?

       Thanks,

      Howard

I’ve not seen this error before.

Seems like a problem with the .net 2.0 framework?  Guess I’d make sure you have the RTM and not some older beta version.

      Hope this helps.

        Thanks for the reply.

.net 2.0 RTM was installed. We gave up, reformated the spindle, and reinstalled the o/s. Tommorow I will try installing BT again.
