      Hello!

We are trying to automatically transfer orchestrations (including production rules) from one BizTalk (let’s say master) to a number of “x” other BizTalk servers (let’s say slave-like). The orchestration will be created on the “master” biztalk and automaticaly transmited/syncronized to the other biztalk servers (the slaves)

Is this posbile? If yes can you guide me with some indications or ideeas.

      We are using BizTalk 2009

      Thank you very much.

Do your Biztalk Servers all belong to the same group?

“The orchestration will be created on the “master” biztalk and automaticaly transmited/syncronized to the other biztalk servers (the slaves)”
Are you talking about the orchestration code or an actual orchestration instance?

        Thank you for your reply.

No the servers are not in the same group. You can say that each one belongs to a different company.

And we are talking about the orchestration instance.

There is no way to move a running orchestration instance between BizTalk groups.

While this is not impossible, there is no code to support it. So you would have to write it all from scratch. Accessing the Messagebox database and extracting the dehydrated orchestration and copy to another MessageBox. This would only work for dehydrated orchestration, as active orchestrations are loaded in memory on one of the Biztalk Servers in the group (not even sure if you can identify which server is running it). The issues with dependencies would stop anyone from doing this.

Thank you for your answer, i will study more about the Messagebox database and extracting the dehydrated orchestration and get back with what we come up with.
