I have added a biztalk project to team system source control, since doing this all of my message assignment shapes have stopped working saying \”invalid expression\” if open up the message assignment shape it shows as if nothing is wrong with it (ie no red lines), i know that these shapes work as they did when the project was not in source control, the strange thing is that if i persist in trying to build my biztalk project it will eventually let me with no errors and work fine for a while but eventually will stop working with the same issue. Has anyone heard of this problem before or know a way to stop this issue happening?

It must have been a problem with this specfic biztalk project, i started fresh with a new solution and recreated the project exactly and it looks to be working fine, i’ve no idea why i was having so many problems with this, i’ll let you know if i see this problem again but from the sounds of things i am unlilkely too!

No, I have not heard of that problem.

I am also using Team Foundation Server Source Control and I have not had any problems.

I have seen invalid expression shaped for other reasons, like getting Orch Instance ID’s, but not just because it was checked in TFS.

Do you have any policies in place or automated builds?

I thought I heard a while ago that BizTalk would have no support for FTS. Not sure if that’s true or not. Also not sure that no support means.

Please keep me updated on this.
