BizTalk and SQL 2008

        Hi,

        I have dedicated SQL 2008 cluster and BizTalk server 2006 R2. I know SQL2008 doesn’t work with BizTAlk. Does anybody have idea about workaround to use SQL 2008 or we have to wait for new BizTalk release? If I install local SQL 2005 and put BAM DB on it, can it help me?  Thanks a lot.

          Yeah, you need to wait for R3.  The last release date I heard was early 2009.  It’s not just the BAM DB, none of the BizTalk DBs are supported on SQL 2008.

                  And by “not supported”, I didn’t mean “can’t configure”.  I meant if you need to open a support ticket with MSFT they will make you rebuild your system on SQL 2005 before they will help you.
