      Hi,

I’ve got the following error while I wanted to compile a BizTalk Server Project:

Build failed. Compiler for file type ‘*.xsd’ failed. Value cannot be null.
      Parameter name: pUnk

The error occurs if there is ANY xsd file added to the project.

We are using BizTalk 2006 r2. The project was created in Visual Studio 2005, the operating system is a x64 Vista Business.

      I’ve found http://support.microsoft.com/kb/884412 as a possible
resolution, however the resolution applies to BizTalk 2004 and it is
      not working in our case.

Did someone encounter the same problem?

      thanks
      Lehel

Hate to say, but you’ll have to repair your BizTalk installation…

Hve you been able to solve this? Can you post how?

        Hi,

Unfortunately repairing didn’t help at all. I tried it in different ways, but in the end I reinstalled the system.

The linked issue (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/884412) is NOT for BizTalk 2007 and it is impossible to follow the instructions due to some changes in BizTalk.
