BAS – Transport Type options

I am trying to setup Send Port from BAS (Business Activity Services) and my goal is to FTP the file to the specific destination.

However, from BAS port configuration, the options on the Transport Type are File,SOAP & HTTP and FTP is not one among them (unlike in the conventional send port transport adapter options).

Does anyone know why BAS does not have FTP as one of the options? Is there a way to configure FTP from BAS?
