        Hi All,

        I have a BizTalk 2004 application that has been running fine for about 8 months. It reads from a file location and processes the file by the associated Orchestration. About 10 days ago I started to occasionally get the following error: biztalk 2004 System.TypeInitializationException receive location

        The application hasn’t changed and the BizTalk Message Box looks ok and the BizTalk server and DB server look ok and the Event logs and SQL logs look ok… Have any of you experienced similar? Could a patch been installed to start causing this intermittent problem?

          Hi John,

           

             If your application has not changed and the files received have not either (my guess is not), then the most likely culprit would be patches to your BizTalk server. A visit to your server team would be helpful.
