Daniel, thank you for your response. Now, I understand how things work. You are right about the project settings. I had not provided the “Application Name” into which the project had to be deployed. This resulted in the project being deployed in the default “BizTalk Application 1”. I deleted the project from “Resources” under “BizTalk Application 1”; updated the project setting with the appropriate “Application Name”. I deployed it successfully. I see that the “Resources” under my BizTalk application in the Administration console shows my project dll.
