I am looking to document “best practice” experiences in configuring and using the new R2 WCF adapters so others can learn from the mistakes/recommendations made by others. If you have anything to contribute I would greatly appreciate it. Either post recommendations here or email me directly at mmckeown@microsoft.com with “WCF Adapter Best Practices” in the heading. I am working to compile a list and publish it by end of October. Thank you!

Site TerraCode.com tells about a project to create a Windows Home Server based system that looks like a book and quitely sits on a bookshelf while serving music and video to PS3 or XBox360.

The most fun part of it is that it’s “Do-it-yourself” project with details on the parts and steps to perform. Looks real cool to me. I probably would not put clear plastic on top – I am not that concerned that guests will try to stick their fingers into the insides — but otherwise I’d love to create one for myself, if I would have time. Hats off to Terracode.com for a beautiful idea!

Last night at the HALO3 launch party at the Microsoft Campus in Las Colinas, I decided
to have some fun at the expense of my good friend Caleb
Jenkins, host of CommunityCast.tv. Below
are the fruits of an evening of shooting video. My thanks to all those who contributed,
and especially Caleb. All I have to say is “That’s Awesome!”.
