WSS Adapter

        I had a question around licensing and the BizTalk 2006 R2 WSS adapter.  I have an environment where BizTalk is installed on a server and MOSS 2007 is installed on another server.  We are interested in using the WSS adapter that BizTalk ships with.    Since the WSS Adapter requires BizTalk to be installed on the SharePoint Server, do we need to buy another license of BizTalk to install the adpater on the SharePoint box?

          I am wondering the same thing.  We are currently setting up BizTalk 2009 and WSS adapter for SharePoint.   Does anyone know the answer to this quesiton?

            I’m sorry not being able give you a real answer, but I cannot imagine you need two licenses. 

            You do not actually install the adapter on the sharepoint server, just a web service that the adapter communicate with. See What Is the Windows SharePoint Services Adapter?

            On Pricing and licensing it says nothing about another license.
