        on this port I send select query to SQL server and receive array of records.  I use WCF-custom type.

          Do you get an error?
          Can you enable the receive location, which then fails.
          Or are you unable to enbale the receive location all.

              Greg,

              I think I found the problem although I have not had chance to look for solution yet.

              When I send Select Query request to database, the send shape requires an initial message.  I don’t have one.  I used NULL in the expression in Message Assignment shape to initialize the message. 

              I’m currently working on another project and may not be able to work on this BizTalk for a while.  I’ll appreciate it if you have some advice on how to initialize the send message.
