        Hi,

        I am running BizTalk 2009 on Windows 2008 server.

        There seems to be a problem using the file adapter on a receive location that is on a Windows 2003 server.  I can use the file adapter on a receive location on a Windows 2008 server but  not any Windows 2003 server.  I can write to a Windows 2003 server (through the file adapter on a send port) but not receive files.

        Is this a known issue or am I doing something wrong?

          I don’t see why this would not work.
          What errors are you seeing, does the receive location get disabled?

              It was a share permissions issue.  Our network operations figured it out in the end.  Apparently BizTalk needs full control.
