Use AS2 Adapter for Backup transport is this possible?

I searched my question on the internet, but I cannot find a solution.

I have a BizTalk server 2010.

My case is:

When our AS2 connection fails, we want to use the Backup Transport to send the message with AS2 adapter to a SFTP connection.

Is this possible, or do I need to make a custom pipeline and send the AS2 message via File adapter to the SFTP?
