We got a standard edition biztalk installed and would like to upgrade to enterprise edition. A few of my concerns are :-
1. Any reconfiguration and reinstallation (uninstall standard then install enterprise) required?
2. If no reconfiguration and reinstallation required, do i need to redeploy the applications?
Many thanks

Hi chyee,
I have the same questions here. The limitations of the installed applications of the standard version force me to upgrade to the enterprise version.
Did you upgraded in the meantime?
What a bout the 32/64Bit installations everythings works fine and is running now under 64Bit?
Did you uninstalled the standard version before teh new installation?
Thanks in advance

Hi Wal,
Yes, i have done the upgrade from Standard to Enterprise.
All of the apps previously running fine after the upgrade. No unusual exceptions or errors throwing from the BTS.
I did not uninstall, in fact, when u run the installation, it will automatically detects the version of BTS you have. As a precaution, i backed up all the applications and btsntsvc.config file before i do the upgrade. After the upgrade, the apps and config file are still pretty much intact.
Hope this helps.
