We have 2 legacy environments that are interchanging data in batch/FTP mode with Connect Direct at present.

We need to change these data interchanges to be real time and we envisage that BIZTALK Server could be the answer.

The one application is a mixture of COBOL and NATURAL with and ADABAS database running on IBM Mainframe on a dedicated site and the other application is Sun / Tuxedo / Oracle running on another site.

Has anyone solved this type of requirement in the past?

Do you perhaps have some advice, tips or hints of the most effective way to re-acrhitect this?

My e-mail is [email protected] if you have some detailed info.

      Hi Piet,

Have you looked at the commercial offerings by Attunity? Here are a couple of links you can check out:

      http://www.attunity.com/adapters_for_biztalk_server

      http://www.attunity.com/tuxedo_adapter

I’m not sure if that’s what you are looking for to re-architect your data exchange processes, but it’s worth taking a look.

         Daniel.
