        I’m installing BizTalk Standard and I need to configure it to use an existing group on a remote machine. The problem is…when I get to the Group section, the option to join an existing group is disabled. Is this normal or is it a limitation of the Standard version? Is there any fix or workaround? I’m guessing that importing a configuration may be the way to go, but there are some settings in the config file which I don’t have available (some “Answer” tags seem to have an associated GUID). Any ideas?

          I believe you have run into a limitation of Standard edition:

           

          Whether customers choose to cluster using MSCS or redundant configuration, BizTalk Server 2006 R2 ENT is the only edition that supports using more than one computer to share a BizTalk Server 2006 R2 load.
