    I think you would need to have a separate BizTalk server running Standard Edition in order to have a fail-over scenario. You could them implement BizTalk log shipping as documented at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc296596.aspx and http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc296743.aspx.

    Also, the BizTalk standard edition license limits you to 5 BizTalk applications as well.
