It sounds like either your VS install is corrupt, your BizTalk project file is corrupt, or one of the items (schema, map, or orch) is corrupt. Can you open the project on a different computer? Can you open any other BizTalk project on the same computer? If yes to both of those questions, it is probably a corrupt item. Try removing all of the items from the project and adding them back in one by one to see which one causes the error.
