    I tried and got it successful on Vmware machine. VMware is something similar to Virtual PC. Let me know of any issues.
    I followed like this…..

    Set up a VMware machine with base OS as win2003 server enterprise edition. Installed SqlServer 2005 July CTP.
    Installed Windows sharepoint services with Sp2.
    Installed Visual Studio 2005 Beta2.

    I did not face any problem while doing so in this sequence……
