I’m having problems accessing the BAM portal (BizTalk 2009) on a Windows 2008 Server x64 bit machine.

      I’ve done the following

      1.       Configured ASP.NET 2.0 to run in x64 bit mode and installed/configured SharePoint Services 3.0 SP1 according to the documentation

      2.       After that I Configured ASP.NET 2.0 to run in x32 bit mode and configured the BAM portal.  According to the documentation this shouldn’t be needed when using IIS 7. However I had to it to be able to configure the BAM portal.

Now I’m getting a HTTP 500 error when browsing the BAM portal.

      Any ideas?

To get it up and running I did the following:

Uninstalled WSS, configured ASP.NET 2.0 to run in x32 bit mode and finally configured the BAM Portal. The installation guide is misleading as it is states that there is no need to configure ASP.NET 2.0 to run in x32 bit mode with IIS7. BAD!
