        Hi,

        How I can retrieve a data  based on one parameter. My problem is that i need to get the latest value, which means I have to sort it . I’m not allowed to create store procedures.

          What type of database is it that you are trying access?

          I have not (yet) tried anything with OLEDB but have had some success accessing non SQL Server databases using the ODBC adapter from TwoConnect.

          With this adapter I was able to generate schemas with input parameters, so this may be an option for you too.
