how to manage a port to query the data from source once in a day ?

Dear Friends,

   Good day to you all
!! I just want get some ideas around this scenario ..i have a requirement  where I want to create a port / receive
location which need to be query the data from souce once in day .. I mean it
should not execute more than once in a day..even though you restart host
instnaces or reboot the system .

Is there any out box setting availble with BizTalk to do so
? or do I need to go for a custom solution something like singleton pattern
with a Delay SLA 1 day ? kindly advise ??
