        Hi,

        I am starter in BizTalk development, Can I install BizTalk directly on windows 7 or do the installation in windows xp mode (this is on my development system) , Kindly help me in the installing BizTalk.

             Please consult this link from Microsoft:

          http://www.microsoft.com/biztalk/en/us/system-requirements.aspx

           

             BizTalk 2009 is NOT supported in Windows 7 platform, so you are better off installing it on Windows XP.

            Hi,

            You can  install Biztalk 2009 on windows 7.For biztalk explorer in visual studio ,you can go for VS2008 ,

            as VS2010 is still not supporting Biztalk

                So there is no need of setting up xp mode in windows 7 and then install, i can directly do installation on windows 7 same way as we do for windows xp?

                        Hi, I just install BizTalk 2009 on Windows 7 Prof for test purpose and I have not encountered any problem so far. I did not need XP mode or to adjust other specific settings.
