      Gurus,

First, I know that deploying on the server is bad news.  We’re in the process of building a setup where each dev has a private server environment and a Release Build environment will exist to do the deployments and create MSIs for deployment to the dev testing, QA, and Production environments.

My environment (for the moment) – BTS2009, SQL2008 (remote box), VS2008 on the BTS box.

That said — I am just working in the dev environment for the moment and need to deploy from VS to BTS.  The SQL server is a remote box and when I put the name of the server in the deployment Server field, the Management Database shows up as “No BizTalk Configuration database(s) found on server”.

I can open SQL Server Admin and see that the database exists and it was working already, so I know it’s good.

What do I need to do to get VS2008 to recognize?  Any ideas?

      Thanks in advance,

      Garret

That might be a permission issue
