error Codes X12 997 acknowledgment on BizTalk Server 2006

Hi, I ‘ve been  looking if   there  is  a  way   to  edit the list  of   error  codes  of X12 997 acknowledgment,  Im  using  Biztalk Server 2006
I  receive  an  error  which   says   that the   code  value is  invalid  in   AK403,  i guess  this  is   becuase    the  value   that  i  Receive  in   this field  is not   in  de  error  codes  list ,  thats  why   I   want  to  know    if I can    edit   the  list   to   add  the value   that  I  receive  as  a  error   code.
Is this   Possible?
