Negatives to 64 bit

  Is there any negatives to running BizTalk 2009 on a 64 bit OS? Do all the adapters work OK? Are there any gotchas that I should know about?

  There are a couple, but only for certain aspects of BizTalk. The IA64 chipset is not supported on Windows Server 2003 (based on http://www.microsoft.com/biztalk/en/us/system-requirements.aspx).
  
  On 64-bit systems there are 2 config files in BizTalk which can be a little confusing or misleadng too.

    The ExplorerOM assembly also doesn’t work on 2006/2006 R2 x64 systems: http://www.modhul.com/2007/08/19/biztalk-explorer-om-not-supported-in-a-64-bit-environment/
    
    I don’t know whether that is still the case with BTS 2009.
