        Out DBA wants to enable Page Level Locking on several Biztalk Tables so that SQL Optimization can run without erroring.

        Based on what I can find out, it sould like this was the locking method of older versions of SQL and the row level locking increases performance, so I am hesitant to tell him to go ahead and turn on Page level locking.

        Does anyone have a thoughtful opinion on this issue?
