Invalid character in data element in EDI message

Hi all,

I am having a problem on receiving the 850 document from the partner. The error shows as following:

Error: 1 (Field level error)
 SegmentID: N1
 Position in TS: 8
 Data Element ID: N102
 Position in Segment: 2
 Data Value:
 6: Invalid character in data element

When I investigate into the problem, I notice there is a non-alphabet character exists in the document:

In the EDI party X12 character set setting, I choose UTF8/Unicode, so I don’t know why it will display an error like this.

Can anyone points out where might be the cause of the problem? Any advice will be greatly appreciated
