        Hello,

                 we have a Biztalk farm comprising of 2 nodes. The nodes have Biztalk Enterprise Edition installed.

                  We have another server which has Biztalk Dev edition installed on it.

                   My question is Can we add this dev edition node on to a existing Biztalk Group which has nodes on Enterprise edition?

                    Will it throw any compatibilty issues?

          I would be surprised if you could do this…if for no other reasons licensing.

           DEV edition is “Limited solely to designing, developing, and testing solutions”.  I guess the caveat would be that you are running enterprise editions in a test environment(and this actually worked).  I got a feeling that when you join the group you will get an invalid version message.

              I think it should not give you an Invalid Version error.

              But we never risk with Production Servers…..if its a test environment go ahead……
